‘Street Church’ Started After Discovering Grace

Thank you so much for being my pastor and mentor all these years. I have followed your ministry from afar for a few years now and have discovered the greatest beauty of all—our Lord Jesus.

Despite being a believer for years, I have to admit that I never really knew what grace was all about until I listened to your messages. As a result, a street mission work was born out of all that I have learned from the Holy Spirit through you.

I used to be a dentist but the Lord called me to feed His children on the streets in the city of Torrevieja in Alicante, Spain. I took that literally and prepared food for those who were so destitute that they were eating from trash cans. So every day by lunch time, my husband and I would go looking for these people, feed them and share the love of Jesus with them.

We started doing that in May this year and now, we are feeding about 100 people daily. The most amazing part about this street mission is that we get to share the beautiful gospel of Jesus as we have come to learn from you, and we see people being delivered and saved. They always say, “Hey Chigo, your gospel sounds so different from what we’ve heard before.” And that’s because we have been sharing the true gospel with the understanding of the grace of God that you’ve taught. The true gospel of my Savior is a sweet song in the ears of His lost children, and the Jesus I got to know and present is so beautiful and impossible to refuse to the man on the street.

Thank you so much for being faithful and daring to be true to your calling. We want to let you know that there is a seed of your church, the New Creation Church, growing right here in this very legalistic setting. Through the gospel of grace, the people are beginning to realize that God truly loves and cares about what happens in their lives, regardless of who they are or where they have been.

Glory to God, we’ve got a church right here on the streets and beauty is springing up from the lives that were thought to be nothing but ashes. The stories and the testimonies can’t be contained here but we are definitely seeing the power of the gospel to heal, save and deliver from every manner of bondage here.
