My praise report is related to the theme of this year—the year of His restoration—that Pastor Joseph Prince preached about.

I just want to say thank you for what the Lord is doing through your ministry. When I came across your broadcast almost two years ago, I was at the end of myself and as you’ve said, I was both “wandering” and “wondering” what happened to my relationship with the Lord.

I would like to share two testimonies regarding my two daughters. The first is in relation to my twenty-year-old daughter, Genesis. After a year of seeking our Father’s will with regard to what she should do after graduating from high school, we all had peace with her entering the Air Force.

I first discovered your ministry in April 2009. My father had passed away only about two weeks earlier and it was a very sad time for us. My husband and I were staying temporarily in my mother's home to keep her company. It was actually my mother who had recommended your program to me.

My 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter were diagnosed with severe non-verbal autism. They are unable to speak and were tested to have the mentality of a 3-year-old. Because of their condition, our family suffered incredible pain.

Just over two years ago, I became unemployed and left with no place to stay. I was also rejected by my family because all the money and luxuries I had were gone. My son and I ended up living in a village with a family in which only one person was employed as a domestic worker in a nearby town. This person made only $70 a month to feed seven people. Our living conditions were a far cry from what we were used to.

My husband had a sales job for 10 years that required him to travel a lot. We didn’t see each other for weeks, sometimes months, at a time. Two years ago, his company went through some changes that ultimately resulted in us not having enough funds for food or lodging.

My children were raised in a Christian home and saved at a young age. A couple of years ago my 20-year-old daughter left home, stopped communicating with our family, and ventured into drugs, cults, and other inappropriate behaviors. She was also suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. It was devastating to see her like that because if you knew her, she was the sweetest, most beautiful daughter anyone could ask for.

Growing up, I just wanted to be a good person who did the right things and avoided doing bad things. I got married and had 2 sons. But my husband and I had frequent fights, leading me to contemplate divorce many times. The future seemed bleak as I struggled with fear and anxiety, not knowing how I would be able to pay off the home debts or how I could afford for my kids to go to university. As a result, I struggled with a very bad temper, stress, and depressive thoughts.

About 18 months ago, I lost my boyfriend in an accident. When I got the news he passed away, I had a nervous breakdown. I felt like I couldn’t breathe and move anything in my body. When I reached home, I went straight to bed to read my Bible but while reading, I threw it across the room yelling, “How can God let my boyfriend die?” From that point on, I stopped believing in God even though I grew up in a Christian home and knew all about the miracles of God.

We started listening to Joseph Prince 10 years ago. At that time, my oldest daughter had given birth to a baby at 24 weeks but the baby only lived for 3 days. It was the hardest thing our family had to endure.

I was raised in a family where from a young age, we were told that when we sin, we would suffer retribution. Our family was not at peace and my parents would quarrel almost every week. The fights would often escalate and involve threats of violence from both parties. As a child, I was traumatised.
