Some time ago, I was experiencing fear of judgment and condemnation. I asked the Lord to reveal His love to me and bring me into the knowledge of His love that casts out all fears. Soon after, I watched Joseph Prince preach and was led to listen to more of his messages. I believe that was God’s answer to my request.

I was finally able to take my civil engineer licensure examination after a year of delay due to the pandemic. To be honest, I was unsure about taking the exam because of the changing situations in the country. I found myself dumbstruck in the first few days of study, because it had been months since I last studied. There were moments I just stared blankly at the questions.

I had been raised by a cruel and abusive father who was mentally unsound and incredibly legalistic. I spent my childhood fearing him and struggled desperately to be loved. By the time I was a teenager, my self-esteem was incredibly low. I thought I was hideously unattractive, stupid, and a burden to anybody I met.

I gave my life to Jesus 2 years ago. On that day, I let go of the toxic relationships I had. But this year, I found myself in another toxic relationship with a man I became sexually involved with. I ended up walking away from the relationship but it caused me such brokenness and grief. I lost sight of who I was in Jesus. I was drowning in depression, fear, negative thoughts, anxiety, and acted out from a place of great sadness, jealousy, and anger.

I was given your book Destined To Reign, some years ago but never got round to reading it. Whilst cleaning out my book collection over a year ago, I donated all my Christian books to a local church library but Destined To Reign somehow stayed in my home unread.

I was born with an arthritic inflammation disease (AS) that attacked my body. For many years, I was unaware of what it was until I was correctly diagnosed in 2004. Although I have been a believer since 1987, I lived a defeated life without knowing it. But one morning, the Lord changed my course.

Pastor Prince, I’m a twenty-three-year-old university student who grew up in a Christian family, attended church, and went to a Christian college. However, I made choices in life that greatly delayed my studies, career, relationships, and spiritual growth.

We had always wanted a child from the first year of our marriage back in 2011. However, despite our best efforts, we never managed to conceive. It was not until our second year of marriage that we started consulting doctors to understand the complexity of the issues that both my wife and I were facing.

Pastor Prince, I was introduced to your book, Unmerited Favor, by my good friend. After reading the introduction from a copy I’d borrowed from my local library, I realized it contains revelations on Jesus that were missing in my spiritual walk.

In February 2018, just before Chinese New Year, my husband was informed that he would be made redundant by his company. He was given a month’s notice.

My marriage and family life were deteriorating. In our third year of marriage, my husband and I were still getting to know each other while blending a family of two teenagers and two pre-adolescents.

Our 18-year-old daughter had been estranged from us for about 7 years. It was so painful, and at many times, it was hard to choose to keep going. We rested in the Lord’s promises of restoration we heard from listening to Pastor Prince’s messages for over 5 years.
